Problem is Oly do not seem to give us any clear directions. The last dSLR released by them is already more then 1 year old. They seem to have lost the focus on improving the dSLR and concentrating only on the microFourThirds (mFT). Also with the latest rumors, Photo Kini will see the last 4/3 body. So where do users like us go? Superb glass must be coupled to superb bodies. It's not that we can use a Nikon or a Canon body with our Olympus glass.
So what's next? mFT's
AF still not there, in fact the whole line's
AF is still no where near the 2 market leaders. The erratic not accurate
AF of the PEN series is terrible. And where is that long promised 100mm prime?
If mFT is what Oly is heading, then where are the bright semi pro lenses? Are we going to be sitting and hoping for some announcement that they MAY announce in the future?? At the very least, give us a chart to hope for. Even if it means like the 4/3 chart a missing 100mm.
Are we going to see weather sealed mFT? Are we going to expect some f2.8 mFT lenses?
Big Question..WILL Olympus still be around to service us in the near future?
