as suggested by juggernaut, i have prepared sets of images taken on the same subject under controlled lighting (to my best). I have taken the shots with same settings on both camera:
- Shot with Aperture Priority (F-10 is used),
- Exposure Compensation: -0.7 step
- AutoWB,
- Picture Mode: 'Natural',
- Color Space: sRGB
- Tripod used, no flash is fired.
- Shot in RAW + SHQ.
- Manual Focus at the same spot (tried hard. manual focusing on E-500 is tough),
- ISO samples: 100, 400, 800, 1600.
p/s: while writing this, i realized that i have mistakenly set the E-330 ISO BOOST to "ON+NF" while for E-500 is "ON".

I realized that the AutoWB for E-500 at ISO100 is off. Don't know why. May be it's my setup.
Overall, E-330 is consitently producing very accurate color compared to the E-500. This is my take... your comments are welcome.
