Good work monish, i still prefer the statues except the golden stuff in b&w, as it gives the impression that the statues are made out of granite and not concrete...

Nice Series. I like the first photo. Very nice angle and it makes the temple look majestic. Sky a bit over exposed though.

Hi Marlboro_Guy,
Sorry to be late to the party :-) The first pic, the resulting clasped shape of the palm points in the same direction upwards as the background rise of the temple dome. The grain of the statue goes well with the texture rendering by the sensor & in monochrome. Pic #2 very pleasing blending of focused foreground to background. I like the bokeh actually. Pic #3 The cup clasped in the hands hides the face of the statue/deity. Not sure of the significance of the face hiding but the perspective is interesting. Pic #4 Bright strong earthly colours Pic #5 Gives you a 1st person's view of a very thirsty person :-) Nice rendering of movement, not overly done. Pic #6 A simple way of showing & breaking pattern :-) Pic #7 I find symbolism lacking but see strong work to keep symmetry, balance. Pic #8 I like the tonality of the monochrome rendering. The altar deco in the background looks like a face :-) Pic #9 Personally, I find the colour rendering odd, the red stands out strongly & fresh but the buttons & metal plate looks worn out in contrary. Hope you find the comments useful :-) Thanks for sharing. Cheers
